At Burton Smiles, we invest in the most innovative dental treatments and technologies to elevate your experience and achieve consistently accurate and exceptional results. With this type of equipment on site, our patients can receive the very best care and treatment under one roof.

Digital imaging

Our state-of-the-art Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanner produces astonishing high-resolution 3D images of the mouth including bones, jaws, teeth, and soft tissue using the lowest possible radiation dose.

The CBCT scanner allows us to plan and perform very precise implant surgery. It helps in surgical planning of impacted wisdom teeth and aids in diagnosing TMJ disorders. Consequently, as we have better knowledge of the surgical site and anatomy, the treatment planning is more comprehensive and completely suited to the patient. This ensures the most bespoke effective treatment will be delivered resulting in the best optimal outcome. The surgery itself is faster, easier and more efficient for our surgeons. It is also safer, more comfortable and results in faster healing for our patients.

We use the latest iTero scanner to create high precision 3D impressions with greater accuracy. This incredible technology allows us to scan your mouth and aids in the planning and customising of your smile on our computer screen.

It has several benefits over the conventional methods:

  • Comfortable and convenient, eliminating the need for uncomfortable distasteful materials that may cause gagging.
  • Provides improved quality images for more accurate appliances.
  • Supports the paper free environment and eliminates the need for disposable impressions, materials and plastic trays, making it eco friendly.
  • We can see what your finished smile will look like, as we can manipulate the scans and see which treatment method is suitable.

Comfort and Clean Air exchange systems

Throughout our dental clinic, we have installed a high-tech air exchange unit. It has a high efficiency energy central core, which avoids mixing airstreams of stale and fresh air and maintains a comfortable temperature regardless of the weather outside.

Dental environments are often exposed to high levels of contaminated indoor air. Using such equipment, we can ensure all rooms are well ventilated and patients and staff alike are protected.
